A dedicated cinema lens solves a different set of problems.

Instead of being designed primarily around quick handheld photography, the mechanical system is usually built around repeatability during a take.

T-Stops vs F-Stops — Why Cinema Lenses Use T Numbers

Photography lenses normally describe aperture using an f-number.
